Despite the weather doing its best to distract us, the opening event of the RSG's Best Practice Programme on Whole Life Cost proved a resounding success for all involved. The depth of information and interactive nature of the debate scored highly with speakers and audience alike, the output of which being recorded and fed into the knowledge base being created by these unique events.
The next workshop is ready to roll: Building Information Modelling (BIM) is currently a hot topic for rail and, being intrinsically linked, the natural follow-on from Whole Life Cost/Whole Life Value.
We are delighted to confirm the continuing commitment of HS2 Ltd. and Atkins Global as lead speakers, which will assure consistency of information in threading these subjects together. Added to which will be other speakers from the supply chain to enable the SME audience its best possible insight to BIM as a 'must have' capability. A different format to that of the Whole Life Cost event will allow breakout sessions to explore these requirements - this is your chance to feed back your needs as well as to learn: we are listening.
