With just under two weeks to go until the start of the first, annual Coventry & Warwickshire Business Festival, Professional Services is topping the programme with the most events out of all the sectors.

siness events, running for the first time across Coventry & Warwickshire between Monday 20 November and Friday 1 December. It consists of eight sectors, each one carefully selected to showcase the region's broad but strong economy.
Amongst the packed programme comprising over 100 events in total, there are some 20 Professional Services events taking place across the fortnight, spanning a wide range of topics that will appeal to a cross section of businesses.
These include HR and employment law, cloud marketing, pensions, cyber self-defence, the financials and legals of selling a business, tips on how to be a great director and there is also an opportunity to meet the Bank of England!
Coventry & Warwickshire has a thriving Business, Professional and Financial Services sector, including legal, banking, insurance, patent attorneys and business process outsourcing. There are around 12,000 business, professional and financial services companies in the region, employing over 80,000 people.
Leading each sector is an industry-specific professional who is well-known within their sectorial field. Nick Abel, chairman of Wright Hassall LLP is the Business Festival Professional Services sector lead. He said, "In a vibrant growing local economy, businesses need their professional and financial services support to understand their needs, to be first class, on-hand and on message"
Developed by the Coventry & Warwickshire Growth Hub and the Coventry & Warwickshire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) and supported by headline partner, the Manufacturing Technology Centre (MTC), the Business Festival, encompasses everything from conferences, seminars, workshops, trade shows to exhibitions, award ceremonies and recruitment fairs.Events are put on by businesses or organisations to encourage business growth.
