Businesses wishing to run an event in the 2019 Coventry & Warwickshire Business Festival have just four weeks left in which to submit their events.
Anyone can apply to run an event by completing a short form on the Business Festival website www.cwbusinessfestival.com/apply before 9 September.
Events can take any shape from a conference or trade show to a workshop, demonstration, tour or even an on-line webinar. They can be about any business matter, but all events should stand to benefit other businesses or individuals by creating learning, sharing, or business growth opportunities or showcasing what the region has to offer. Events that are topical or of national significance are also welcome.
Some examples include: sourcing new supply chains, exporting and selling to foreign markets, or improving staff retention; through to accessing university research; showcasing new innovative technologies or perhaps a common issue or challenge affecting SMEs.
The Business Festival, developed by the Coventry and Warwickshire Local Enterprise Partnership (CWLEP) and the CWLEP Growth Hub and headline partnered by Inspire Insurance, is now in its third year. This exciting fortnight is set to comprise around 100 free business events across the Coventry and Warwickshire region between 11-21 November.
Craig Humphrey (pictured below - left), managing director of the CWLEP Growth Hub, said, “We want to make sure that businesses don’t miss out on the opportunity to be involved in the biggest business event in the region.
“Typically, the Business Festival sees around 5,000 attendees and well over 1000 businesses of all sizes and in all sectors each year. There are many benefits to being involved, from growing business networks and connecting with like-minded industry experts to increasing exposure significantly both in the region and beyond. With only one month to go I urge businesses to take the opportunity to get their events into the programme now, before it’s too late.”
